The Philadelphia Asian American Film Foundation (PAAFF) is proud to serve as a fiscal sponsor for eligible projects that align with our mission to uplift and celebrate AANHPI stories, artists, and communities.

Fiscal sponsorship allows individuals, collectives, and emerging organizations to seek grants and charitable contributions under PAAFF’s 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Contributions made to fiscally sponsored projects may be tax-deductible, helping projects access funding opportunities that may otherwise be unavailable.

What is Fiscal Sponsorship?

Fiscal sponsorship is a partnership in which a nonprofit organization extends its legal and tax-exempt status to support charitable projects that further the organization’s mission. Through this arrangement, sponsored projects can receive grants and donations while benefiting from the administrative and financial oversight of an established nonprofit.

  • Access to foundation, corporate, and individual funding opportunities
  • Ability to receive tax-deductible charitable donations
  • Alignment with PAAFF’s trusted nonprofit status
  • Financial administration and grant management support
  • Opportunity to focus on your creative, cultural, or community-based work

We welcome inquiries from projects that advance storytelling, arts and culture, media, education, community engagement, and initiatives that support AANHPI communities and creators.

PAAFF applies an administrative fee for fiscal sponsorship services using a sliding-scale structure based on the total project budget. Fees help support the financial administration, compliance, reporting, and oversight required to manage sponsored projects responsibly.

If you are seeking a fiscal sponsor for your project, we would love to learn more about your vision. Please contact us with a project description, anticipated budget, timeline, and funding goals to determine eligibility and discuss partnership opportunities.
