Asian Arts Initiative's Artist Town Hall invites artists to come together to share their latest projects, make a pitch, and exchange resources. This year, we invite artists from across the performing arts to share their work and latest projects. No matter what stage you're at in your project (fledgling idea to fully produced work), come by to connect with fellow artists, hear about funding opportunities, or pitch an idea! Dance, theater, drag, spoken word - every practice is welcome!
Big Picture Film Fest premieres short films produced by youth (ages 12-24) from across Philadelphia through the Big Picture Alliance (BPA). In honor of BPA’s 30th anniversary, this year’s event explores the theme of "Homecoming" - bringing together alumni, young creatives, industry professionals and community leaders. Hosted by Eldric Laron, the event includes a mixer, workshops, panel discussions, a musical performance by Seraiah Nicole, and the premiere of an immigrant justice documentary series featuring New Sanctuary Movement. Premiering captivating short films created by Philadelphia youth, this event amplifies marginalized voices and sparks poignant conversations about identity, community, and the boundless potential of creative expression.
